Rules
Tournament Format
Resurrection Format Tournament: All dead or injured players will be recovered normally between rounds without consequences for the coaches (Reanimated Zombies and Rotters last only until the end of the match in which they were revived).
Team Tournament of 5 Players: Each team must have five different rosters chosen from the 30 available.
Each team will also designate a captain, who will have to make tough decisions during the five rounds!
Rules Used
The tournament rules will be based on the official Blood Bowl 2020 rules + Teams of Legend + Spike! Magazine up to issue #18 + the latest FAQ (May 2025).
The Star Players allowed are those from the core rulebook and those officially released.
Team Creation
Depending on their roster’s Tier, coaches receive a budget to purchase players, rerolls, staff, and inducements. They will also be allocated a set number of Skill Points (SP) based on their Tier:
Tier 1: 1120k & 5 SP (max 1 secondary skill)
Undead, Amazons, Lizardmen, Dark Elves, Wood Elves, Dwarves, SkavenTier 2: 1150k & 5 SP (max 1 secondary skill)
Vampires, Humans, Orcs, Necromantic, Norse, Slann, UnderworldTier 3: 1160k & 6 SP (max 1 secondary skill)
Tomb Kings, Chaos Dwarves, Elven Union, High Elves, Old World AllianceTier 4: 1180k & 7 SP (max 2 secondary skills)
Imperial Nobility, Chaos Chosen, Chaos Renegades, Khorne Daemons, Nurgle’s Rotters, Black OrcsTier 5: 1200k & 8 SP (max 2 secondary skills)
Halflings, Goblins, Ogres, Snotlings, Gnomes
Each SP allows assigning a primary skill to an eligible player.
It is possible to exchange 2 SP for a secondary skill, only if no Star Players are in the team.
One player can be given two primary skills at the cost of 3 SP.
Random skills and stat increases are not allowed.
A maximum of 2 Star Players can be purchased. Their cost is their gold value + 3 SP.
Super-Stars (which include the "Mega Stars" from the rulebook and some others) cost their gold value + 5 SP.

Star Player Restrictions: Star Players can only be recruited if the team already has 11 standard players.
If two identical Star Players are on the field, both can play.
Number of Matches
5 rounds during the tournament (3 on Saturday, 2 on Sunday). 2 optional independent and individual match on Friday and Saturday night (NAF-ranked but does not impact the tournament).
